Foundation for Love

I’d barely stepped onto the set when any courage that I had mustered beforehand had completely left me. The camera crew were getting everything set up to capture the first shot, a few actors already in place and ready to go.

I took a deep breath, and it took everything I had not to spin on my heel and run away. I felt like I didn’t belong there, like I was an imposter. My heart began to race as I looked around, but the sight of one man in particular made the world around me freeze in place.

Tom Hiddleston was looking to be going over a script with someone else, his blue eyes lighting up as he spoke. A small part inside wanted me to go over to him, to at least say hello and introduce myself. Though, before I could put any actions into motion, a woman placed herself right in front of me, blocking my view of the most handsome man I’d ever seen.

My Roommate, the Actor

Sunlight peeked through my curtains as the morning greeted me, the chirps of nearby birds providing background noise. My eyes fluttered open as I woke up, mentally cursing myself that I’d woken up before my alarm clock. Another day, another dollar, another guaranteed migraine. I sighed as I got out of my bed, sliding on my slippers before leaving for the kitchen.

As I walked down the hall, I stopped by my roommate’s room to see if he was awake for the day or not. He was lying on his stomach in his own bed, only a sheet covering the bottom half of his body, and snoring that told me he was still sound asleep.

Angels (& Reapers) & Demons - Chapter One: The Outcast

The sky was a brilliant shade of blue, the sun shining brightly without any clouds to block its warm light. The view was the same as it had always been, though, for a young woman who was hidden away in the top of a large, white building.

It was relatively square in shape, with a couple domes resting on the roof. While the outside was a bright white, the inside was wall to wall with books, so no one could say for sure what color they were.

These were no ordinary books that filled the rooms of this massive building. They held the lives of each living person that has ever been and will be. They were known as cinematic records. You might wonder who would ever be in need of any of these curious items. Those who roam the halls of the library aren’t like normal humans, even if they could pass off for one if they wanted to. They were known as Grim Reapers, people who collected souls and judged if they would go on to Heaven with the Angels, or be sent down to the pits of Hell with Demons.
